Designed to complement the Trimble Instinct driver workflow solution, our new real-time chat functionality helps keep drivers informed of important messages and enables dispatchers and fleet managers to supply drivers with valuable contextual information and insights like never before.     • Modern Messaging Format – Chat conversations appear in a familiar inline format designed to reflect familiar text messaging display on mobile devices.
    • Simplified, Verifiable Communications – Drivers and back office personnel can quickly and easily communicate without any delay and verify messages have been received and read.
    • Easy Translation – Back office managers can enable translated text so drivers can send and receive messages in French or Spanish, and then translate those messages to English.
    • Group Communications – Users can enable group communications with up to 25 different users at the same time, enabling teams to stay on the same page.
    • Equipped with Metadata – Back office personnel can also expand chat conversation to see relevant data associated with the driver/truck at the time of messaging; such as HOS data, Routes and Shipment Information, and more. 

In addition, the newly enhanced ConnectedDriver Pro application allows drivers to stay connected to important daily information and chat messaging, particularly when they’re away from the cab.  

    • Keep drivers informed of critical real-time chat messages from the back office when away from their truck with this intuitive, easy to manage application.  
    • Display Hours of Service and duty status information on-screen via the app, with the ability to see current duty status, remaining break time, shifts and more.
    • Get real-time updates about upcoming assigned dispatches throughout the day, including details about all assigned trips and active trips.  
    • Verify changes made in ConnectedDriver Pro, via Instinct’s ELD application, by simply updating logs.
    • Download the app on drivers’ wireless devices in minutes with minimal hassle or confusion. 

ConnectedDriver Pro acts as a companion for drivers who spend considerable time outside their cab during or in-between driving shifts. This app can be installed on most wireless Google Android and/or Apple iOS devices with ease.
